Carrying my first child,
I have come to understand the quiet strength within motherhood,
its tenderness, its weight, and its quiet, unwavering love.

For the lives yet to be born,
for those already in this world,
and for the mothers who carry and care for them,
this music is written as a small offering of comfort.
